  1. The Promoter

  2. The promoter is: TAP IN MEDIA LIMITED (company number: 11044802) of Peter House, Oxford Street, Manchester, England, M1 5AN.

  3. The prize draw

  4. The title of the prize draw is IPAD, APPLE PENCIL & CAREER MENTORING GIVEAWAY.

  5. The prize draw is being launched and promoted via posts (the “Prize Draw Posts”) primarily shared via Snapchat and Instagram. Snapchat posts are managed by the Promoter. The Instagram pages “@wearetapin” and “@thisisblackgenz”, are Instagram accounts wholly owned and managed by the Promoter.

  6. How to enter

  7. The prize draw will run from [15:00] on [15.3.2023] (the "Opening Date") to [23:59] on [12.7.2023] (the "Closing Date") inclusive.

  8.  All prize draw entries must be received by the Promoter via the method set out at paragraph 3.3 below by no later than [23:59] on the Closing Date. All prize draw entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified. 

  9. To enter the prize draw, you must complete the This Is Black Gen Z Survey in full: 

  10. You will be counted as having a maximum of one entry only. 

  11.  No purchase is necessary to enter the prize draw and there are no other charges payable in order to enter the prize draw. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

  12. The Promoter will not accept:

  13. responsibility for prize draw entries that are lost or delayed in transmission, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any internet failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or 

  14. proof of transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the prize draw. 

  15. By submitting a prize draw entry in accordance with paragraph 3.3 above, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  16. The prize draw entries will be entered into a spreadsheet and the winner of the prize draw will be randomly selected, in accordance with the rules of the prize draw, using a randomised generator tool.

  17. Eligibility

  18. Entry into the prize draw is open to all residents in the UK (including international students) except:

  19. employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;

  20. employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the prize draw or its administration; or

  21. members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.

  22. In entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize in the event that you win. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the prize draw.

  23. Those under the age of 18 may only enter the Prize Draw having obtained consent from their parent(s) or legal guardian(s) before entering.

  24. There is a maximum limit of one entry to be made by any one person. If any one person attempts to make more than one entry by completing the This Is Black Gen Z Survey multiple times, only the earliest valid entry will be counted as that person’s entry. 

  25. The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize draw.

  26. The prizes

  27. The first prize is:

  28. one brand new Apple iPad Air (5th generation) 64GB (Wi-Fi) - subject to availability; 

  29. one brand new Apple Pencil (2nd Generation) - subject to availability; and

  30. one, virtual, one-to-one, 50-minute career mentoring session with an industry professional. 

  31. Each of the second, third, fourth and fifth prize is one, virtual, one-to-one, 50-minute career mentoring session with an industry professional. 

  32. The funding for the prize is supplied by the Promoter. The prize draw is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Meta, Apple, any of their affiliates or any other entity.

  33. The prize draw is not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by the employer partners supporting the This Is Black Gen-Z Research project, as outlined on (the “Event Sponsors”).The prize is not negotiable or transferable. There is no cash alternative for the prize. 

  34. Winners

  35. Once ascertained, the winners will be contacted by the Promoter via Email ( informing them that they have been selected as a  winner (the “Win Notification”).

  36. In order to claim the prize, the winner must respond to the Win Notification (via email) within 7 days of receiving the Win Notification and include their preferred email address in their response.

  37. Failure to respond within 7 days  of the Win Notification will result in the prize being forfeited and the selection process will be re-done in order to randomly select a new winner. Forfeitures will continue to occur until the prize has been claimed by the applicable winner.

  38. The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

  39. Once the Promoter has received the email address from the winner it will, within three days, contact the winner via email to inform the winner of the next steps in the process for claiming the prize and arranging delivery (the “Delivery Email”). The winner must respond via email to the Delivery Email within three days of receipt and include in their response, the winner’s:

  40. Full name;

  41. Delivery address;

  42. Photographic ID (e.g. passport or driving licence); and

  43. A letter or utility bill dated within the preceding three months to evidence the home address of the winner.

  44. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will publish the surname and county of the winner within 10 working days of the Closing Date (the “Announcement Date”).

  45. If the winner objects to either or both of their surname or county being published or made available, please contact the Promoter by emailing In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and evidence of the winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request. 

  46. Claiming the prize

  47. The prize must be claimed in accordance with paragraph 6. If the winner does not claim the prize by this date, their claim will become invalid and the prize will be forfeited and re-allocated as set out in paragraph 6.3.

  48. The prize may not be claimed by a third party on the winner’s behalf.

  49.  The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if the winner is not able to claim the prize.

  50. Limitation of liability

  51. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors as well as the Prize Sponsor exclude all liability and responsibility for any amount or kind of loss or damage that may result to a participant or a third party (including, without limitation, any direct, indirect, punitive or consequential loss or damage or any loss of income, profits, goodwill or use) arising from or connected in any way (whether in tort, negligence, breach of contract or otherwise) in connection with the prize draw and/or the prize and will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of claiming the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

  52. Ownership of prize draw entries and intellectual property rights

  53. The Promoter does not claim any rights of ownership in your prize draw entry.

  54. Data protection and publicity

  55. The Promoter will process your personal information as set out in its Privacy Policy. See also paragraphs 6.6 and 6.7 above, with regard to the announcement of winners.

  56. General

  57. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the prize draw.

  58. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.

  59. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
